First mentioned in 1689, the Ochsen has belonged to the same family since 1923. After the grandparents Anna and Wilhelm Betz and then the parents Lotte and Willi Betz, Renate nee Betz and husband Fritz Schick are now running the steeped in history house in the third generation. They provide the best evidence, that in our fast moving times that it is not just necessary to know where one is going but also where one came from.
Guests in the Ochsen can expect to find next to all the modern conveniences also the rustic style comfort from the good old days. Guests meet often and with pleasure in the snug dining rooms: the Jägerstube, the Guten Stube, the Ochsenstube, the Weinstube, the Stiftszimmer, and the Saal.
For this reason it is recommended to make a reservation as early as possible.
Reservations are recommended also for our Pavilion – in the summer months it is a shady oasis in the heart of Oberstenfeld.
The centre of Obersenfeld
has been lovingly restored.
The success formula in the Hotel Ochsen is a large portion of tradition, seasoned with
a good dose of relaxed hospitality.
